The Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy N/A stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 71-34 win over Crossover Prep on the road. The win was nothing new for Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sheen Saunders Jr led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. Saunders Jr hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mustafa Alper Kaya, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Crossover Prep, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crossover Prep, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st.
