After a string of three wins, the Independence Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. The game between them and Nolensville wasn't particularly close, with Independence falling 61-44. Independence has not had much luck with Nolensville recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Riley Brooks, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Fleming, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Independence's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-14. As for Nolensville, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.
Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nolensville also has no future games currently scheduled.
