After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Piper, Fort Lauderdale was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Stranahan Mighty Dragons 52-4. The Flying L's have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Fort Lauderdale is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.4 points per game. As for Stranahan, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Fort Lauderdale will venture away from home to face off against Cardinal Gibbons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cardinal Gibbons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Fort Lauderdale surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stranahan, they are taking a road trip to challenge Deerfield Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
