Grovetown won the last time they faced Evans and things went their way on Monday too. The Warriors took down the Knights 24-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Knights are ranked 86th).

Grovetown didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kaitlyn Tansiel and Iyonna Burns. Tansiel got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Grovetown and bumps their season record up to 13-3. As for Evans, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Grovetown and Evans will both be playing Westside the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
