Lee Smedstad was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Delanie Gilda, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
Holy Names Academy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Eastside Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.
