It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Shelbyville Rams had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against Mater Dei by a score of 28-21. The win was familiar territory for Shelbyville who now have three in a row.
Loss or not, Mater Dei got some senior leadership from Brock Revermann who gained 58 total yards and two touchdowns and Trenton Zeeb who threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns.
Shelbyville's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.7 points per game. As for Mater Dei, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
