Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Dinwiddie

Dinwiddie had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Hopewell on Friday. The Generals put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 9-3 victory. The game marked the Generals' most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Dinwiddie, bringing their record up to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Hopewell, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4.
