It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Lakeside Panthers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Josey 52-49. Lakeside's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Asunti Porter had a dynamite game for Lakeside, scoring 32 points along with 7 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Porter has scored at least 25% of Lakeside's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobi Barnes, who scored 8 points along with 17 rebounds and 7 blocks.

Lakeside will head out on the road to face off against Greenbrier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Greenbrier focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Saturday. Josey will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Kell at 4:00 p.m. on November 24th. Kell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Josey is ranked 107th).
