West Alameda County - Foothill recap October 22, 2013
Encinal extended the longest winning streak in West Alameda County - Foothill this week by beating Berkeley, 10-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Jets.
Castro Valley moved up to 359 from 415 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Trojans climbed the ranks as a result of topping Bishop O'Dowd 43-14.
Encinal's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Taivale Tautalatasi threw for 22 yards and Jordan Parker had 10 yards receiving. On the ground Tautalatasi contributed 61 yards. Isaiah Hunter helped Encinal's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 12 yards.

Berkeley's Noah Suszckiewicz and Travis Dennis led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Suszckiewicz has thrown for 612 yards this season, while Dennis has 29 catches for 468 yards. The Jets' Hunter leads the league in rushing yards with 215.
An important game coming up in West Alameda County - Foothill this week will be when San Leandro takes on JAMES BARNES's team. The Pirates are currently in second, while the Yellowjackets are in third.
San Leandro took down Hayward 39-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
