Gavin Restad posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 6 strikeouts per game.

Even though Restad couldn't lead Windsor over Rancho Cotate, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Restad's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Jaguars' four-game streak of wins on the road.
