Gatlinburg-Pittman was led to victory by Nya Burns and Maddy Newman. Burns scored 23 points, while Newman almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Newman hasn't dropped below 16 points for 18 straight games. Another player making a difference was Maliyah Glasper, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Gatlinburg-Pittman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season. As for Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.
