On Friday, King City came up short against the Trailblazers and fell 59-49. King City has struggled against the Trailblazers recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Soledad came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 59-55 victory over Pajaro Valley on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
King City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Soledad, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
King City suffered a grim 69-47 defeat to the Aztecs when the teams last played back in January. Can King City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
