Windsor Locks has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Rockville Rams at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
On Wednesday, Windsor Locks came up short against Granby Memorial and fell 41-30.
Maeve McGinnis put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored seven points along with 20 rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Rockville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by South Windsor at home and fell 50-19. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rockville has scored all season.
Windsor Locks' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Rockville, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
Windsor Locks couldn't quite finish off Rockville in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 and fell 31-29. Thankfully for Windsor Locks, Anaya Tolton (who scored 12 points along with seven steals and four blocks) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
