Seth Evans was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI.
In other batting news, Ryan Bass and Mattox McKeel did most of the damage at the plate: Bass got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while McKeel scored four runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2. McKeel continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Doll, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
