The Redmond Mustangs had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Interlake 74-47 at home. That looming 74-47 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Redmond yet this season.
Redmond's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Iha Kasam led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Kasam is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sofia Locati, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.

Shaw's trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Cammy Roed was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Redmond's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Interlake, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redmond will take on Juanita at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Interlake, they will be playing at home against Bellevue at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Bellevue's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
