They had to suffer through a 41-7 loss at the hands of the Jacobs Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 42-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Jacobs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyvon Boddie (T.O. Boddie) led the charge by rushing for 99 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. Boddie (T.O. Boddie)'s longest rush was for an incredible 84 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Dumelle, who rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
