After three games on the road, Priest River is heading back home. They will take on the St. Maries Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Even though Priest River has not done well against the Lumberjacks recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Priest River snuck past the Lumberjacks with a 33-27 win. The victory was just what Priest River needed coming off of a 61-31 loss in their prior game.
Priest River now has a winning record of 5-4. As for St. Maries, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-15.
Priest River didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Lumberjacks in their previous matchup on Monday, but they still walked away with a 33-27 victory. Will Priest River repeat their success, or do the Lumberjacks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
