After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Kingman Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent  game. They came out on top against the Northland Prep Academy Spartans by a score of  13-10  on Monday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  victory against them.
 Gavin Hopper made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024.

 In other batting news,  Baylor Short was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Dustin Sealy was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 Kingman Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .561. They are 4-1 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Kingman Academy's record is now 7-11-1. As for Northland Prep Academy, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-5.
 Coming up, Kingman Academy will welcome Mountainside  at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 25.71  runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northland Prep Academy, they will head out to  face off against St. Johns  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
