It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Wimberley Texans had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 68-0 victory over Pearsall. The result was nothing new for Wimberley, who have now won nine matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Cody Stoever continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 151 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Drew Brasher got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
The victory for Wimberley keeps them at an undefeated 11-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.91 points. As for Pearsall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Wimberley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pearsall also has no future games currently scheduled.
