While KIPP King put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Fremont. The Lions put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 22-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Tigers two weeks ago, they had to take a 5-2 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for KIPP King and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Fremont, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Coincidentally, KIPP King and Fremont will both be playing Oakland Tech the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
