Sacopee Valley found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-28 punch to the gut against Old Orchard Beach last week. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Sacopee Valley.
Meanwhile, Maranacook took the matchup and then some with a 38-0 victory over Traip. The success made it back-to-back wins for Maranacook.
Maranacook's win lifted them to 2-0 while Sacopee Valley's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Maranacook can add another positive mark to their record or if Sacopee Valley can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Maranacook's step.
