Norview is 9-1 against Norcom since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pilots will take on the Greyhounds at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Norview gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 6-1 win over King's Fork.
Jonathan Moore made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Malaki Littlejohn was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Isaiah Simmons also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Norcom hadn't beaten Booker T. Washington on the road since May 10, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Greyhounds blew past the Mighty Bookers 26-5. Considering the Greyhounds' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Like Norview, Norcom also got a great game from a two-way player: Davion Futrell. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over 3.1 innings while giving up three earned runs but no hits. Those ten strikeouts gave Futrell a new career-high. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Norcom got a massive performance out of Da'Quell Barrett, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, five runs, and five RBI. Tamir Johnson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Norcom always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .732. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Booker T. Washington only posted an OBP of .400.
Norcom's victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Norview, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3.
Norview took their victory against Norcom in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 22-2 score. Will the Pilots repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
