Kellogg is 10-0 against the Spartans since November of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Kellogg Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Priest River Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Kellogg scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 64-36 win over St. Maries. Kellogg has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.
Emily Coe continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Macy Jerome, who scored 16 points along with six assists and three steals.
Even though Priest River has not done well against the Lumberjacks recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Priest River came out on top against the Lumberjacks by a score of 41-34. The win made it back-to-back wins for Priest River.
The victory was the third in a row for Kellogg, bringing their record for this year to 12-8. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.7 points. As for Priest River, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
