Baseball Recap: Kamiak Has No Trouble Against Arlington

While Kamiak put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Arlington. The Knights put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 10-0 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Kamiak got a big performance out of Elijah Bovey, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddux Phimmasane, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Kamiak always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Kamiak and bumps their season record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Arlington, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Kamiak will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
