The Westwood Panthers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 72-59 win over Fairfield. Given Westwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while Fairfield is ranked 952nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kavian Bryant continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 35 points along with six rebounds and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Carter, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Westwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-53 loss vs. Franklin on the 9th. Fairfield has also already played their next game, a 75-62 loss against Teague on the 9th.
