It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bosque ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They escaped with a win against Rehoboth Christian by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Kyle Morris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with five assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Hautau, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Sandia Prep only won by two when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 31-point they dealt the Rams on Friday. Sandia Prep simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rams 70-39 at home. That looming 70-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Sandia Prep yet this season.
Bosque is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Sandia Prep, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15.
