The Sargent County Bulldogs took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-44 win over Lisbon. That's another feather in the cap for Sargent County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Lisbon still got an impressive performance from Kyra Haecherl, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaia Sweet, who scored five points along with five assists.
Sargent County pushed their record up to 1-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lisbon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sargent County will take on LaMoure/Litchville-Marion at 7:30 a.m. on December 14th. As for Lisbon, they will be playing at home against Central Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
