After eight games on the road, Quincy is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the South Fork Cubs on Thursday. Quincy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Quincy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Los Molinos by a score of 69-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, South Fork's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fortuna. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for South Fork in their matchups with Fortuna: they've now lost nine in a row.
Quincy's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for South Fork, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3.
