The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 88-50 loss at the hands of Mandarin. Trinity Christian Academy has struggled against Mandarin recently, as their matchup on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Conquerors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joshua Moricette, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Martinez, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Trinity Christian Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-4. As for Mandarin, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy and Stanton will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Stanton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Mandarin, they will head out on the road to take on Fletcher at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
