Abbie Kegley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and seven RBI while going 2-for-4. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, New Kent let Hannah Tober and Kenley Rowe run wild. Tober scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Rowe scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
