The Munroe Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 47-38 to L.E.A.D. Academy.
L.E.A.D. Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sophia Harold out in front who scored 16 points along with eight assists and two steals. That's the first time this season that Harold posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Harold, who scored 11 points along with six steals.
Munroe has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Munroe will take on Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pensacola Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
