West Fork are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Green Forest on Friday at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-54, which was the final score in West Fork's tilt against Elkins last week. West Fork were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-48.
Meanwhile, Green Forest found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-32 punch to the gut against Commerce. Green Forest were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The losses dropped both teams to 0-2. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
