The Centauri Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Cedaredge Bruins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cedaredge took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Centauri, who comes in off a win.
Centauri barely beat Sanford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 20-10 margin over the Indians on Tuesday. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The team relied heavily on Warren Shelton, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 4-for-5. Centauri is undefeated when Shelton posts two or more runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Ryder Norton also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Centauri was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 22 runs the game before, Cedaredge was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of Gunnison by a score of 4-2. The Bruins have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Cedaredge saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Sanders, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. Another was Makai Salazar, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Cedaredge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Centauri, their record now sits at 7-3.
Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Centauri has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .571. However, it's not like Cedaredge struggles in that department as they've averaged .484. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Centauri came up short against Cedaredge in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, falling 11-8. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
