If the Chico Panthers were feeling good off their 62-34 takedown of the Shasta Wolves last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Chico fell 77-66 to Enterprise on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Thursday (62), Chico still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Chico still got an impressive performance from Adam Brott, who scored 28 points along with six rebounds. The contest was Brott's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Magnus Nielsen, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Chico's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Enterprise, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chico will take on Red Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Red Bluff will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 793rd, while Chico is ranked 321st). As for Enterprise, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Valley is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
