The Wray Eagles will take on the Akron Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Wray 3.3, Akron 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Wray is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Holyoke 20-2 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.

Hudson Rockwell made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Brodie Riggleman and Gage Waitman did most of the damage at the plate: Riggleman went 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI, while Waitman went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Noah Stults, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Wray was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .576. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Akron came out on top against Peetz on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Rams took their matchup against the Bulldogs 8-3.
The team relied heavily on Kolten Randel, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Clay Axtell, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Akron's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Wray, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Wray has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Akron struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wray couldn't quite get it done against Akron when the teams last played back in April of 2025 as they fell 8-4. Will the Eagles have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
