Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Monroe). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Washington Lions 88-61. The victory was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on three straight.

West Monroe's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.3 points per game. As for Washington, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-3.

West Monroe and Washington could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. West Monroe (ranked 86th) will meet Central (ranked 30th) at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Washington will challenge Ouachita Parish at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday down 63 places (79 vs. 16).
