Trinity Catholic has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they must head out on the road. They will take on Cassville in each of the teams' fifth playoff contest on Saturday. Averaging 36.25 points per game, the Trinity Catholic squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Cassville's defense is prepared for a test.
Trinity Catholic got themselves on the board against Lutheran last week, but Lutheran never followed suit. The Titans put the hurt on Lutheran with a sharp 26 to nothing win. No one put up better numbers for Trinity Catholic than Chris Cotton, who really brought his A game. He passed for 265 yards and two TDs.
Meanwhile, Cassville earned some more postseason success in their matchup last week. They were able to grind out a solid victory over Blair Oaks last week, winning 35-28.
With both teams having displayed their playoff mettle, spectators can expect a high-quality contest. Keep track of this and all the high school football postseason action on MaxPreps.com.
