Patton have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will square off against Bunker Hill at 7:30 PM on Thursday. Patton don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Patton brought a two-game winning streak into their contest against West Iredell two weeks ago; they left with a three-game streak. Patton took down West Iredell 23-7.
Meanwhile, Bunker Hill have to be hurting after a devastating 7-30 defeat at the hands of West Iredell last Friday. The state rankings had actually given Bunker Hill a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Patton simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Bunker Hill 63-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Patton since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
