Berry is 0-10 against Ardrey Kell since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Berry Cardinal will head out on the road to face off against the Ardrey Kell Knights at 6:00 p.m. Berry comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
On Tuesday, Berry was beaten by South Mecklenburg 69-24. Berry has not had much luck with South Mecklenburg recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Meanwhile, Ardrey Kell unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Marvin Ridge by a score of 39-37.
Berry's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.1 points per game. As for Ardrey Kell, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.
Berry was taken down by Ardrey Kell 67-16 in their previous matchup back in February. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Berry was down 40-9.
