Cross Keys will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Social Circle at 5:15 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-44, which was the final score in Cross Keys's tilt against Berkmar last Friday. Cross Keys were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
Social Circle had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Stone Mountain last week as they made off with a 31-0 win. Social Circle was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Social Circle's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Cross Keys's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Social Circle can add another positive mark to their record or if Cross Keys can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Social Circle's step.
