The Church Farm Griffens posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 54-19 victory over Renaissance Academy on the road. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Church Farm had established a 24 point advantage.
Renaissance Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Taijae Byrd-Breazeale and Ed Breazeale IV. Byrd-Breazeale scored nine points, while Breazeale IV scored eight points.
Church Farm pushed their record up to 5-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Renaissance Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
Church Farm will be playing at home against Morrisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morrisville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 676th, while Church Farm is ranked 329th). As for Renaissance Academy, Renaissance Academy and Delaware County Christian will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Delaware County Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
