Morgan Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. Their  rough  14-6 loss to the Fort Dale Academy Eagles  might stick with them for a while.   Hadley Verhoff made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Miles Avery Bond, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 On Fort Dale Academy's side,  Bailey Lambert and  Anna Claire Thomas did most of the damage at the plate:  Lambert  went 3-for-3 with two  triples, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI, while  Thomas  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Madison Freeman, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Morgan Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Fort Dale Academy, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.
 Morgan Academy will head out on the road to  square off against  Lee-Scott Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Morgan Academy has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Fort Dale Academy, they will head out on the road to  take on  Abbeville Christian Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Fort Dale Academy will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last.
