On Monday, DSST: Cedar was able to grind out a solid victory over Lyons, taking the game 46-36. The win made it back-to-back wins for DSST: Cedar.
Katelyn Fortune continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Fortune is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Amaya Paul, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
DSST: Cedar now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lyons, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
DSST: Cedar will head out on the road to face off against Fountain Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Fountain Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 last Thursday. As for Lyons, they will be playing at home against Merino at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Merino is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
