After two weeks on the road, Carvers Bay is heading back home. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Hannah-Pamplico at 7:30 PM at Carvers Bay HS on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Carvers Bay skips in on three wins and Hannah-Pamplico on five.
Four weeks ago, Carvers Bay put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Hemingway 42-6. Senior Janaz Sumpter, who rushed for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Carvers Bay's success. Sumpter has been a consistent playmaker for Carvers Bay as this was the 3rd good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Hannah-Pamplico had enough points to win and then some against East Clarendon last Friday, taking their contest 32-13.
Their wins bumped Hannah-Pamplico to 5-0 and Carvers Bay to 3-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
