Manchester won the last time they faced Sand Creek and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Flying Dutchmen walked away with a 2-0 win over the Aggies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Flying Dutchmen.

Manchester easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.

Avary DuRussel paced Manchester's offense, picking up five kills. DuRussel got some help from Olivia Woods and her 14 assists. Karsyn Klein controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Sand Creek, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Manchester has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Napoleon on the 26th. After both having extra time off, Sand Creek and Britton Deerfield will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:15 p.m. on September 4.
