Despite the loss, Opp still got an impressive performance from   DJ Hines, who  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and 13  rebounds. Hines' evening made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alan Jones, who  posted six  points.
 Even though they lost, Opp  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in four consecutive  contests.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McKenzie to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Jay Jackson, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 15  rebounds. Jackson is  on a roll when it comes to  boards, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's  played.  Zane Bullard was another key player,  putting up six  points and seven  rebounds.
Opp's record is now 7-7. As for McKenzie, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-3.
 Opp wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  51-32  defeat against Bullock County on the 7th. As for McKenzie, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  51-48  win against Brantley on the 7th.
