Hill played in-conference for the first time on Wednesday and got just the result they were looking for. They were the clear victors by a 25-15 margin over Yerba Buena. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Annaliyah Felix was excellent, going a perfect 5-for-5 with seven RBI, four runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Liliana Panuco, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

James Lick's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hill has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. It's a different story for James Lick, though, as they've been averaging 10 hits. Given Hill's sizable advantage in that area, the Comets will need to find a way to close that gap.
Hill came out on top in a nail-biter against James Lick in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 16-15. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
