Austin put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding  38-0 win over the Grissom Tigers. Fans of the Black Bears have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+  points.
Austin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Autumn Cassidy led the charge by throwing for 164 yards and four  TDs, while also rushing for 35 yards. Cassidy is  crushing it when it comes to  passing touchdowns: she's   passed for at least three every time she's  taken the field this season.  Aundrea Boyd was  Cassidy's top target, picking up 35 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 Austin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Tyeisha Hodges,  Neveah Forster,  and  Kensile Phiilips picked up one apiece. Hodges got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Austin's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Grissom, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Looking ahead, Austin will face off against Albertville at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Black Bears 2.9, the Aggies 9.1) so any  points scored will be well earned. Grissom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
