The Oak Hill Oaks lost against the Western Indians back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Oak Hill fell to Western 58-53. Oak Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Western got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kam Janes out in front who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Janes is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Drew Haggy, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds.
Oak Hill has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Western, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.
Oak Hill won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th. Northwest will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Oak Hill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Western, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against South Gallia at 6:00 p.m. Western has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three contests.
