The Pahrump Valley Trojans can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 50-14 win over The Meadows School. The win was familiar territory for Pahrump Valley who now have seven in a row.
Pahrump Valley was led to victory by Kailani Martinez and Paris Coleman. Martinez dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, while Coleman scored 25 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Heaven Cooper, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Pahrump Valley pushed their record up to 19-1 with that victory, which was their 16th straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.38 points. As for The Meadows School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pahrump Valley will take on Sports Leadership & Management at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Sports Leadership & Management will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 68th, while Pahrump Valley is ranked eighth). As for The Meadows School, they will be playing at home against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
